The young fence stops leaning like it is old
A five-year-old fence that already leans was not built for the lot. Gardner's subdivisions sit on flat, wide-open former farmland where the wind runs unbroken, and a post set eighteen or twenty-four inches deep never had a chance. Standing it back up changes nothing. We pull it and reset it 36 inches deep in poured concrete, below the frost line and past the depth the wind can walk. The lean ends because the post is finally deep enough to fight it.
